Adult acne care - do you care for your skin at all? If you don't, that could be why you've got acne on your face. Many guys don't bother caring for their skin, and I used to be one of them.

I used to...

• use one of those 5 blade razors, shaving against the grain.
• pick and scratch my face.
• pop my pimples relentlessly.
• use my hand to prop my head up.
• rinse my face with water numerous times per day.

You're an adult now, it's time to take care of your skin properly. Don't be lazy or dodge it using some sort of macho excuse. It may seem like small potatoes but it isn't.

Your skin is the largest organ on your body. It's truly an amazing piece of your body. Do it a favor and treat it right.

Once I became aware of how badly I was treating my skin, I eliminated my bad habits. And you know what? My acne improved. I didn't get razor bumps or ingrown hairs, and my skin felt great all day.

So if you are interested in improving your adult acne, there are some simple steps that will help tremendously. And the best part is that the cost is practically nothing.

• Use a razor blade that has 2 blades, at the very most 3. Shave with the grain and you will greatly reduce skin irritation and that equals less acne.
• Don't touch your face. Again, it has been shown that irritation of the skin causes acne.
• Use a gentle, non-comedogenic cleanser that won't clog pores. Avoid soaps in a bar form, because they tend to be at a pH level that is not in sync with your skin - i.e. irritation.

Implementing proper skin care habits will get you on the right track to clearing your skin and having a great complexion.
