What is the Best Facial Cleanser?

The best facial cleanser for acne should be one that is gentle on the skin to prevent as much irritation as possible, since irritation can lead to more acne. It should also be water-soluble and not in bar form to remove oil and leave skin without any residue that could clog pores. In addition, the pH should be balanced with the acid-mantle of the skin to minimize any damage and to not encourage the growth of bacteria.

The best acne cleanser that I've found is Paula's Choice CLEAR Normalizing Cleanser. It's chemical properties give it a ton of benefits that help skin that's suffering from blemishes and breakouts.

I personally use it everyday as part of my regular skin care and personal hygiene routine, along with the CLEAR Targeted Acne Relief Toner and CLEAR Acne Fighting Treatment when my diet isn't as good as it could be.

What makes this particular facial cleanser gel so good?

It should be noted that this product does contain triclosan, which is a bit of a controversial anti-bacterial ingredient. I'm a firm believer that you should avoid toxins when possible, but this would rule out almost every kind of synthetic cleaner in the marketplace - and that isn't practical for most people.
